Tips & Tricks

• Most hedges are best trimmed twice a year. The first trim preferably between May and June, and the second around August/September.
• It's best to trim your hedges in the shade or on cloudy days, to prevent young branches from browning due to sun exposure.
• Place a cloth or plastic sheet under the hedge to catch trimmings, which will reduce clean-up afterwards.

Maintenance:

• Always clean the blades with a soft brush and a clean cloth after use.
• Regularly spray the blades with a maintenance spray for the best trimming results. For this, we recommend the BLACK+DECKER A6102_XJ maintenance spray.
