Good pruning starts with sharp and clean pruning tools. After use, clean your tools thoroughly to enjoy your scissors longer. When pruning, pay close attention to which branches or tips you are removing. Cut branches back as far as possible to the core. Prune just above a spot where a young shoot is pointing outwards. Remove branches that grow over each other.
