The Einhell GE-SA 1640 Electric Scarifier and Aerator is a heavy and powerful machine with a 1600 W Carbon Power motor. With this machine, it is possible to bring your lawn into top condition. With this machine, scarifying and aerating surfaces of up to approximately 800 square meters is no problem. To offer you the greatest possible ease of use when scarifying or aerating the lawn, the electric scarifier has a height-adjustable handle with an ergonomic shape. This allows you to adjust the handle to your height to prevent back problems. This machine can be used for scarifying and aerating the lawn. It is very easy to switch between the blade roller and the aerator roller, on the underside of the scarifier.
As a scarifier, the machine has 20 stainless steel blades (thickness 1.5 mm). The blades cut vertically into the grass, and this is intended to remove moss, weeds, and old mown grass. In this way, space is created for new, healthy grass, and the supply of fertilizer and water also functions better after scarifying. The aerator roller has 30 stainless steel claws, which allow the lawn to breathe again. Aeration ensures that aeration holes are drilled in the lawn, which leads to more oxygen absorption by the lawn and better penetration of (rain)water. In this way, the roots of the grass can grow again.
Both the blade roller and the aerator roller last a long time due to the high quality of the material with which the blades are produced. The electric scarifier can be set to four different depths, up to a maximum of 12 mm. The machine has a robust collection bag with a capacity of 48 L, to collect the released grass, moss, and other garden waste. The plastic wheels do not damage the lawn. For safe working, the machine has a handy cable clip on the underside of the handle, where the power cable can be hung. The machine is easy to store, thanks to the click system on the handle of the machine. By folding the handle, the machine becomes very compact. This makes it easy to move or store the machine. The blade under the hood can be easily raised to prevent damage to the blades.
